When I read the news of Roe v. Wade reversal, tears rolled down my face.

When I was a teen, I had an abortion.

I wouldn't have been able to look after a baby.

At that time, I was fleeing from a horrific childhood and facing mental illness and addiction.

I was also working hard to get into the SAIC.

If I had no access to abortion, I would have been dependent on my dysfunctional family.

Now all these years later, I know I made the right choice because I never wanted to be a mother. I could never be a good mom.

To pay it forward, I am a pro-choice activist, going to protests, counter-protests and clinic escort.

I witnessed anti-abortion activist harassing women trying to enter the clinic by throwing holy water on them and attaching rosaries on the gates of the clinic.

It destroys me thinking women don't have a choice.

I’m drowned in sadness, anger and profound grief, so I made this art to begin to feel empowered.

They Call Her a Sinner, Killer and Whore.
